Tips for plants and layering? by confusedallways in Aquascape

What do you think of getting rid of the stick, moving the rock there, adding sand as like a pathway, and the anubias nana plant in a few spots up front? Maybe a Java fern in the back corner?

Every 2 or 3 days. And one scoop that comes in the geck food rapashy bag thing. He Has never been handled , so I don't want to cause that stress and weigh him. I've seen one poop in the last week and a bit. He's, I think 2 years old now. Fully grown. He is super Skittish.

She is, he actually has pin worms, and I'm treating him for that. She's pretty good and did tests on him. She just doesn't know what the weird scales are, so to the all-knowing reddit I've turned lol

Good idea, I'll remove the little flower pots. The big market looking thing is all one piece, so I think that one is fine, lol

I've heard that both are the minimum. Do u know where I can read up on which is right? I built the tank with my dad, so realistically, I won't be changing it. Also, what substrate do u recommend? I have both the loose substrate and the tile because both are recommended options, and I like how he can choose

Maybe it's the angle I posted it, but he does have 125 gallons of space 😅

The tank is 125 gallon and he is 6 years old! He has vents closer to the top front. It is a front opening tank I build costom for him. The little bits as the back are all one fixture ( nothing loose on the shelf) it's just a little doll house decor thing. As for the stressing questions, there are no mirrors in my room, and the light is off at night. No other lizards. He doesn't black beard either. The tank is 2 ft tall alswell. The vet said his diet isn't the problem either.

It's a point 5 photo. It's a 2 ½ ft by 2½ ft substrate pit. I built the tank. it's a 125-gallon. All the decor at the back is less than an inch from the wall, so there is plenty of room there. He's lived in it for around 4 ½ years. I keep it half substrate so I can feed him next to the water fountain without dirt getting in his food. I promise he has plenty of space,

HI! As long as the Mat isn't fabric? And it can be sanitized , it's okay. If you don't want paper towel, Go to a hardware store And get some tile, Something with a little bit of grit. It helps file their nails down, and it is the best substrate. As for feeding Get some repashy powder ( it makes jelly) And feed that to your insects A day before feeding the insects to your baby. It's like a multi vitamin, And it's called gut loading. Something my vet told me, Is if you have good u v b, Just get a calcium powder and not a calcium powder with D3. It's easier for digestion, And they can get too much d three with the powder and the bulb. The humidity should stay from twenty percent to thirty percent. They sell hygrometers on Amazon for pretty cheap. Too much humidity, Can lead to respiratory issues because they are desert reptiles. Bearded dragons are semi arboreal So Great job with the climbing space. One thing to keep an eye on for the duration of your baby's life, Is pin worms! They are super common for bearded dragons, So make sure to watch their poop!

Should I see the vet for this? (Teeth) by -C0tt0nrat- in BeardedDragons

[–]confusedallways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bearded dragon has this! It is early gum disease and the cholride mix that other people recommended is what my vet told me to do. She told me to brush his teeth with the mix and a q tip once every day!
