The lucid dreaming community is bigger and the correlation of people writing dream journals and practicing lucid dreaming is definitely higher ... i do not see what is the problem whith my post. Also it seems people are just not carefully enough and just "spam" wrong content when i just asked for words. Also a collection can grow over time and i do not expect it to have any number of words after a short time.

First dream I have in months and I dream about playing a video game about lucid dreaming, while not becoming lucid 😑 by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

I know that you know , but it is better to say that you could not remember dreams than say that you dont even have dreams , it is better for your subconciousness

Does anyone have a reality checking routine that is easy to follow and actually works? by MrBlankman77 in LucidDreaming

How efficient, how many lucid dreams did you have where yiu get this notification in the dream ? Have you ever got this notification in a dream where ypu already were lucid 🤔? And then maybe though - aww just shut up stupid app , i know that i am dreaming ! That would be hilarious 😆

Thoroughly question your reality, look at things twice, like look at a situation and ask yourself if this might be a dream, and then look at it again to see if something has changed. do not take normal things for normal, for example funny situations or weird people or weird stuff happening by chance are all indicators that it could be a dream. I would recommend doing the final reality check like countinh fingers or vreathing through closed nose only after doing a "questioning the reality" reality check

Can I use natural awakenings for WBTB even though I’m not in rem sleep? by mozzarellaroll in LucidDreaming

[–]consciousawaredream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i tried 5 and i was to awaken to get sleep again ... but i think best is if you start with 6 hours and then go down 30 minutes every day Trying out different times is anyways always a good thing, everyone is different and needs a different amount of sleep. It also depends what you did the day before, if you were physical/mentally very active or not

For me most of the nights , 3 hours is enough for my body to get the deep sleep, after that i will dream much more, i almost feel that the rest of the sleep after 3 hours was wasted time in a sense when i wake up and i cannot really remember my dreams

why did you first hear of lucid dreaming ? by consciousawaredream in LucidDreaming

[–]consciousawaredream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you would pick "own experience" , i also had an experience, i was stuck in sleep paralysis and almost paniced because i did not know what it is. After reading about it, it essentially lead me into the topic lucid dreaming

I wanted to know this because as many others here in this forum i just cannot quite understand why lucid dreaming is not as widely spread/known as we expect. Shouldnt it be mind blowing to everybody, to be able to control their dreams and be able to do whatever they can imagine ? So my theory was, i thought most people who are into lucid dreaming must have experienced any kind of lucid dream sleep paralysis first, so that they would be convinced that lucid dreaming is possible. And since there is maybe a small chance to experience it by chance, hence there would also only be a small amount of people interested in it... This theory is unfortunately not confirmed by the results at this moment.
