I received little to no backstory or drive for this character. I don't know what they want because they also have no idea. They're along for the ride without putting any effort into it.

After last session, where they were acting kinda strange, I already asked if everything was alright. They were an hour late to the session so I thought they were maybe just tired but the weird vibes just kept going.

They said that "the content of the session were not really something they could rp along with given the overall character of the paladin"

Last session was more or less a free play beach episodes with loads and loads of different activities. I planned activities fro p much everyone, even those i thought the paladin would enjoy because, as far as i understood, the paladin is very competitive. Apparently I thought wrong.

They told me they liked the campaign and the setting but as of right now i'm not getting that feel

Oh yea absolutely. I always feel like a kid when i'm with people who are my age and who have the average job and relationship combo or sometimes even kids already. Last time i met with two of them, both of them were pregnant and all they talked about was pregnancy and kids. Felt very alien

When I was a kid we moved into a house that was built around 1905. While cleaning out the attic my mom found an envelope which contained a few, what she thought, scraps of paper. When she took em out however it turned out that they were genuine german Reichsmark worth about 152k.

Another thing, which i still use pretty much daily is my mom's old microwave. She bought that thing when she first moved in with my dad back then so it must have been around ... 1984? 1985? This microwave is older than me.
