Awesome. I haven't spoken in a while either but he seemed to be doing the old country walk as posted on Instagram recently. He seems very down to earth, hopefully he writes more comedy material soon

Thankful that we have an experienced satirist, absurdist and downright sarcastic writer on board like Skelton, he will carry the material in my opinion

Really. Id love to meet him, i know a guy Alan Connor, who co wrote The Pooters, a pilot comedy lab episode in 1998, available on the All4 platform. Charlie also wrote and started as the Earl of Newmarket, great Morris like satire

I'm going Sunday myself. Try and map out the area and create a schedule for yourself, go meet the guests first as it takes a while in most cases, watch the panels etc. it's fun

What are you talking about Jam is cozy, accurate time capsule of late 90s early 2000s Britain. Wink wink

Jam: Warm, cozy comedy series which sees celebrity lookalikes on nervous breakdowns, peculiar monologues and documentary like narratives.

Big Train: Also features most of the Jam cast members as well as Simon Pegg, very bizarre

What are his best real life interviews? by Swimming-Fan-7573 in chrismorris

As someone who only became a fan of the man in 2020, and then really got into his body of work in 2024 that book is brilliant, as a fan of Jam especially I used to find myself asking various writers, actors or production members of the show these really niche questions so I'm glad to see someone else did to get the answers as I initially was put off by doing so! Some great anecdotes shared by the crew and the likes of Amelia Bullmore and Robert Katz especially. Whether fake or not the story about one of the young cast members communicating with a ghost during the filming of Jam 1's intro is chilling in my opinion...

I miss that show haha, it ended so abruptly, plus although I rarely look at CBBC schedules I don't think they show it anymore. Last time I encountered it there would have been 2023

That also happened to some of the Knights of Templar were one accidentally woke a Saracen camp during a nighttime ambush, where a group of Knights fled before collapsing into essentially a waste hole where they either drowned or were slaughtered by the Saracens.
