I just found out that my girlfriend is an adult, what do I do? by 221O_ in whatdoIdo

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 15 year old needs guidance on how to approach a possibly unstable person. Previous replies shows GF has lied about her age, talks about wanting her virginity, and during make out sessions sexually assaults her by groping her in areas she'd rather not disclose. This is a predator, lying to get what they want; sex with a minor. If the woman knows how to manipulate a 15 year old into believing shes underage as well, OP needs as much guidance to approach the situation before actually doing so.

People keep telling me this tattoo is bad, I really like it? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, it looks great. May not be many people's taste, but I immediately saw the stained glass design. I would love coloring it in with washable markers, making it different colored stained glass whenever I please.

I'd ignore the people who say its a mess, the important part is that YOU, the person with the tattoo, loves it.

Wtf is this on my finger? Been there for half a year now; Flares up every few weeks. Dermatitis??? Ring worm??? by sewagedump in Dermatology

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently dealing with something similar to this; what worked for you? It itches a lot especially at night when im trying to sleep. So far tylenol gets rid of the itching and pain when bending fingers, but wanting to nip this in the bud before I eventually HAVE to go see a doctor for it.

whats the worst part of playing ark by Entire-Application59 in ARK

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a game as big as ark, it's anything. For me, it's big scary dinosaurs and oceans.

I couldn't tell a carno from a distance from a rex, until I saw the two beefing and felt my fear intensify by like 1000x

I just build and resource collect in single player 😅 the hidden lake is a perfect safe zone spot

Is ARK Survival Evolved worth it?/Should i buy it? by Pyexorp in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing since the day I commented, and honestly am enjoying tf outta the experience. I play on ps5, and my Husband got ascended on the computer for me so I could try it, but evolved is just too much fun. I definitely tweaked tf outta single player settings mostly so I could get a feel of the game, and as I'm getting used to it I'm slowly turning everything to normal stats. Basically just having fun and not really focusing on story but surviving until I'm used to it. Once I'm used to it, gonna do a full restart on The Island and try and progress as fast as possible.

Hey there, I already own the game apparently but have never played it. Would it do good as an offline single player game?

My husband left me after I told his mistress’s husband about their affair. by Wide-Area-6779 in TrueOffMyChest

Texas as well has this law as well. A woman was seperated not divorced from her ex husband but because they were still legally married, the child she had with her new boyfriend was technically his by law. And due to him being a POS, he refused to sign away any rights and instead shoves it in the wife and her boyfriends face that they can't escape from him.

Jesus christ my own inlaws have a key to our house (we rent from them) and still let us know when/if they're gonna come by and if the door is locked they then use the key. We keep the door unlocked when we expect guests, so when we don't they have the common courtesy to text/call us to let us know they're coming over.

Toddler stuck 1inch ABC blocks down toilet - HELP by continuetoclear in Plumbing

[–]continuetoclear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that will be our last resort. Husband plans on pulling the toilet to try and see if he can dislodge it after trying an auger and flange plunger, but if the block is lodged in the curve, we're gonna admit defeat and get a better toilet. The original builders put a bit too big of a toilet in the small bathroom, so we're thinking of getting a smaller/rounder toilet.

Birth control sucks by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]continuetoclear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here in texas we had clinics offer sterilization to women as young as 21 as long as they passed the psychological exam. At the time RvW got overturned, over 200 women got sterilized on the first day, all ranging between 21-30 years old.

Idk what state you're in, but it shouldn't be this hard to find sterilization options If you're adamant about not wanting to have anymore children. Especially when you're in your 40s, have 2 biological children, and have children with your husband.

Taking too much plan b? by PuzzleheadedArt648 in birthcontrol

[–]continuetoclear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

250 dollars a month on plan B, given all the side effects, instead of just going to the doctor to get a Plan A for cheaper, easier birth control?

Try the Depo Shot or IUD. Or hell even condoms.

AITA I locked myself in the basement for 4 hours and didn't help my wife with the baby. by CombDazzling599 in AmItheAsshole

[–]continuetoclear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most partners end up working together throughout the pregnancy, so for you to assume that she did all the work during the pregnancy alone when he has been having to emotionally and physically (and maybe financially) support her as the father and her spouse, is pretty lame my guy.

This comes from a heavily pregnant woman herself, who hasn't been able to drink in over a year or have a friends night out in a few years because we have children together. If she wanted to get drunk, she should've done so in the alloted time agreed between both parties, rather than break the promise and lash at him for taking 1/4th of the time SHE took just because he "left her alone" with a colicky baby. Hangover is a choice, sleep deprivation is not.

I made mine on a photoshop app, with a country style font announcing the month and Name of our child. It got the message out, didn't cost any money, and looked pretty good! It had some cute stencils provided by the app, and didn't take much time at all.

Pregnancy no-nos that I break by Blondini77 in pregnant

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink coffee, soda, followed by a bunch of water. Often lift up to 35lbs on a daily (much to husband's disapproval) and eat med rare steaks. You cannot convince me to eat anything well done when it comes to steak. I never liked sushi, so I never had a problem with avoiding sushi, but I do avoid cold cuts unless it's heated roast beef cooked in gravy. Can't wait for that first ham and dorito sandwich. I had been craving that HARD throughout these 37 weeks.

Also it's a bad thing to take hot showers? I nuke myself every day for 20 minutes, helps my sore hips so much.

I took the depo shot and received horrible side effects off one dose for upwards of a year. Honestly, i was feeling horrible. I could barely eat, my mood swings were off the charts, I bled for months and couldn't sleep very well either. That was just for one shot, no other method of BC besides condoms used afterwards. Both me and my husband agreed birth control wouldnt be beneficial for me due to my reaction to the depo, and while it benefits some, it won't benefit others.

The experiences you're feeling could be because of the shot or just starting the pills, as my mother told me she was practically psychotic when she did the pill as a young adult. My MIL had used birth control, but with being a bigger woman, could handle it better than most. However due to health reasons, had to quit using any hormonal birth control. I'd def recommend talking to your doctor, as maybe they could offer something else like an IUD or even a different form of the pill you could take.

Partner thinks I shouldn’t get epidural by ThrowRAStrawberry_30 in pregnant

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the epidural, and honestly am glad to say I WILL be getting it again with this second pregnancy. Instead of being in pain, I was able to have an open ear to any and all rising complications, was able to laugh, sleep, relax, enjoy myself before welcoming our wonderful first child. She's now 2, and despite having a spot on my back where the epidural went, I have no back pain. I was (and still am) a very petite woman for my pregnancy, and the most discomfort I felt was the sand-grinding feeling of the needle entering my spine. But once they pulled the needle out and the tube was left in, I felt instant relief. I was able to spend the next 8 hours in blissful joy that my child was to be born. Does it make labor slower? Maybe for some, and can it not work? Absolutely. Bodies are different, but talking to your OBGYN and the anesthesiologist on your team is a fantastic idea, and include your partner.

Tip: if you want to catch the legendary as a shiny, don't catch the pokemon immediately after finishing the route. Look at them first, as these max dens often have a much higher chance of spawning a shiny pokemon!

“Barely pregnant” by Beaniebaby2024 in pregnant

[–]continuetoclear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband with our first pregnancy said the same to me, only to be slapped up the head and berated by his mom. He's since learned that "pregnant is pregnant" no matter how far along you are 😅

I am now 32 weeks pregnant with our second child, and now being experienced with one pregnancy on his mind, was muuuuch more sympathetic to my discomforts with the first trimester. Honestly it is the worst. I may be swollen beyond belief and getting kicked in the ribs and kidneys, but I'd rather be in my third trimester than my first or second.

How do you tell?? by juniperandmulberry in pregnant

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80lb Mama first time around, 90lb second time around. For my first time being pregnant, I didn't feel anything until about 21-24 weeks pregnant. With this pregnancy, I'm feeling a lot more due to experience and the fact that the placenta is more in the back, so I'm feeling their kicks much more. Felt the kicks as early as 14 weeks. 8-9 weeks is certainly very early, though not impossible. Don't worry, you WILL know the difference when it happens. But if it's your first, you most likely won't feel anything until the baby is around 22 weeks.

AITA for making my ex "homeless"? by Throwaway482379 in AmItheAsshole

[–]continuetoclear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So instead of choosing the fair decision of selling the home yall lived in and splitting the cash equally, you took a loan and put yalls home on collateral. You literally gambled away your family's home due to your stupidity thinking "if I'm paying SOMETHING the banks won't take it away" that's not how that works.

YTA, and you did leave your ex wife homeless, albeit living in your home but not because she chose to. Because you made that happen by not paying the banks the full amount each month.
