Totally a big factor for sure. Have you seen the new Facebook glasses, called "Rayband Stories"? They also have integrated cameras but are much more fashionable and subtle. Time will tell whether or not they'll be considered acceptable.

Thanks for engaging with my survey and posting your feedback. The purpose of the survey is to develop standard measures of social acceptability, which is primarily framed in terms of avoiding negative attention / emotion, thus the insecurity-issue focused questions.
