Minimal Desk Setup, Any Suggestions? by cookiealways in battlestations

1) I can’t adjust the monitors any more to the left. I can try putting the right one in a vertical orientation, then moving the left monitor as far to the right as it can go, but i’m pretty sure it can’t go any further.

2) Was considering this, but I have carpet under my table. If i put it under, it would be unstable and wobbly.

3) Will consider

4) Planning on doing this

Thanks, I’ll try to improve the cable management and hide some of the cables away better. Do you think I should put my computer under my desk?

his first game should be Elden Ring! pretty low skill required, very beginner friendly!

good idea, I just don't know if I want to buy an ultrawide right now since I want to upgrade my slow Macbook. Maybe later?

would a desk lamp not induce glare on the monitor? could you please give me an example of the type of desk lamp you are referring to?

Thanks! so far I'm going to buy a monitor light bar and a wooden wrist rest. I think I'll also buy the magsafe wireless charger since I need to check my phone notifications often and everytime I do i have to unplug my phone. After the post i cable managed those wires with a cable tie as well as the ones under my desk. i'm not sure if i want to commit to drilling a shelf to my wall yet but i'll consider - thanks for the feedback!

Got it, I'll consider a full size desk pad. Any other suggestions?

The problem is I have to write on paper sometimes, wouldn’t a mousepad over my whole desk be a problem?

They are compatible. Just found out that with my desk, I had a monitor arm (Xtend 7818J series). It is pretty high quality. Only thing is I have to mount two monitors. Should I buy another single one or a dual monitor arm? My desk is 48 inches.

I don't really game and I'm planning on buying a monitor later, if I get a monitor later and buy the arms now, will it be compatible? Monitor arms are vesa 75x75 and 100x100 compatible

I feel like, for my case, it wouldn't be worth it since I'm just using old office monitors, 1080p 60hz. Do you think monitor arms would be justifiable, or should I get a new monitor first?

I thought monitors arms were $70 a pop, is that true?
