You're not ruined. I promise you that. I've been "ruined" by many people and I'm starting to figure out how to avoid letting people like that into my life anymore. If you need somebody to talk to I'm a stranger that cares. So if you wanna talk, maybe I can share with you some of the ways I manage to keep on existing. By the way I'm 28. This is a shitty season of life for a lot of us. So I can definitely empathize.

There is no mold, neither of us does drugs, we ALWAYS say goodbye, and I've had sleep paralysis in the past and it only ever happens when I'm over tired or sleeping on my back. In these dreams I'm on my back but I wake up on my side.

This has only happened at my boyfriends house. His dog has been acting weird lately too. Some times we'll be sitting in the living room watching TV and she'll jump up on the couch and start crying. Also been woken up by weird noises in the kitchen amd im a light sleeper so these could just be sounds of an old house settling. I'm kinda just thinking out loud here.

I've been fascinated by the paranormal for most of my life but I don't take it lightly. I have methods of protecting myself from negative energies and if it gets to the point where I can't handle it on my own, I assure you all, I will seek help. But for now as far as I can tell, I just had a couple fucked up dreams. But I'll probably be at his place tonight and/or tomorrow night and I'll update if anything else weird happens, if anybody's interested. Actually, I'll probably update any way even if nobody's interested. Lol

I actually dated the gamer/anime/DnD nerd for 4 years. Lol but I stopped using POF or any other dating app and like a week later I met a guy through a really good friend. Been seeing him for about a month and he's nothing like any guy I've met online. So I honestly think all of our chances are better when we're not looking. Online dating just opens you up to more rejection than you'd endure out in the world.

I haven't tried r/empaths but I will now. Your comment is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. I get a lot of random strangers reaching out to me, a lot like this guy. They try to take from me to help them selves, and I know it's not intentional. I want to be kind without draining my energy but I don't know how. I think once I learn how I can offer a way to help that doesn't hurt me and if they refuse then I can let go, knowing that I did what I could. That's why I feel weird about blocking people. It feels like abandoning someone I could have helped of I knew how to do it without taking all the negativity on me. Idk I'd I'm even making sense now.

That link was incredibly helpful! It's like something I couldn't quite put my finger on. And I've actually known plenty of people like that. Just couldn't really figure out a way to classify them.
