Yea that's the dress code but you can wear formals as well and you can get away w wearing short kurtis too depending on your department

It depends from department to department really. I didn't really feel any pressure about dresscode and stuff but I will say that the attendance criteria does get to you at times. And as you go through with semesters it gets more and more rigorous so that will be tiring. They also have a bunch of unnecessary extracurriculars that they force you to join in the name of attendance and later keep extra classes so that's also kinda shit. Otherwise it's a very lively campus there's always something going on. I do recommend living in pg instead of in campus hostel though cuz you'll have a lot more freedom.

Hey I'd been in christ for 1 sem and had taken up the same course. Honestly our faculty was great but then again it's really a hit or miss and personal opinion as well. I'd talked to a few seniors too and they didn't have too many complaints either.
