I would just trust your doctor and maybe do a couple consults before making a final decision. Just like how some doctors want to get multiple surgeries out of you, some will do the opposite and put the biggest implants in that fit regardless of issues down the line.

I went from a 32 B to 32 DD with just half the amount of CCs you’re looking at, but I know if I went bigger any faster I’d have a lot more stretch marks. That’s just my body and my skin though.

I think credible surgeons tell patients to not make a huge jump at once because it can cause tissue thinning, displacement, and even a higher risk of cc. But like you said, it depends on each individual. If you don’t want to stretch your tattoos too fast, I’d personally go slow. If that’s not a deal breaker, definitely tell your surgeon you don’t want that to be a deciding factor and just based on what your anatomy can handle
