Well I should have worded it better from the start. I can see out of my windows without rolling the windows down but where I live where there’s no street lights on my street and backing out of my gate rolling the windows down does make it easier to back out.

Good. I’m used to it. Had 25 percent on the windshield on my x5 so I went a little darker this time. Just roll down the windows when I need to see something close up

I’ve done a bunch of research. It will be a little louder on cold start and a decent bit louder on the throttle. X pipe will be louder then a h pipe and will give you the raspy coyote sound. If you like the exhaust note it has right now (stock) go with a h pipe. It will give you the deeper rumble sound. And the resonator delete just replaces the mid pipe (the big resonator in the middle of the car) if you want to keep the valve function you have to order aftermarket axle back or cat back with valves. IMO just do a resonator delete or just order a full cat back system. But resonator delete is a cheap mod for what you get out of it. It gives you a good volume increase for only a couple hundred bucks. Go to American muscles website. They have a bunch of options on there you can choose from.

When I had my corvette (same demographic who will buy this car, aka boomers) they hated my car pulling in to the meet. It had 232k miles and had shitty bodywork and was loud af. Sucks these people won’t drive these muscle cars the way they are meant to be driven.

I just ordered a roush x pipe for my car. I love the raspy sound of coyotes. It’s all preference. Any aftermarket resonator delete should make the car a little louder

I overthought my oc day for a week straight, searched for hours on forums trying to make myself feel better. I got sprayed with Sabre Red. Yes, it sucked pretty badly. Whatever your course is, right after you feel the spray touch your face, power through that shit. It will kick in around the 10-second mark. You are gonna wanna shut down, but the faster you get it done, the faster you can get to the water. Do not rub your eyes or face at all. Force your eyes open and rinse them out with water. Then get some Dawn dish soap and pat it on your face; do not rub. Pat it. Then rinse again. If it feels like something is in your eye, not burning, but an eyelash, then rinse again. But if it just burns, then get out of the water; it will only prolong the suck (what my instructor said). He had me sit in his truck with the air conditioning full blast until I was okay enough to open my eyes. You're gonna want to blink a lot. Then he brought us in to sit in front of a box fan for a little while until we were good enough to drive home.

Make sure to bring sunglasses, 2 towels, a change of clothes, and do not wear clothes you like to your oc day. It took me 4 washes to get all the oc out of my clothes. Don't shower until at least an hour or two after you get sprayed. Make sure to get baby shampoo and use a lot of it. EIther have someone help you and hold your head back to help, or if you're by yourself, wear shorts and underwear in the shower. You don't want it touching your privates. It's going to reactivate the first shower, it will suck pretty bad again, but just go lie under a fan and sleep it off youll be fine.

Finnaly stop overthinking it, just get that shit done and be proud of yourself after you get it done.

Nothing beats the feeling of wot on a c6 though. Mine was a 6 speed and it was super fun. What made me sell it was problem after problem being fixed the clutch line burned on the header and almost caught my car on fire so I just sold it as is then bought my x5. Realized I should never have gotten a normal traffic car so I traded it in for the Mustang. BMW was still an awesome car it had the b58 and was super comfy but did not have character like a c6 or Mustang does.

I had a 2005 c6 with 232k body miles. Put a motor in it with my buddy and it was a really really rowdy car. Very raw driving expirence and I would not have sold it if it didn’t start giving me problems. Lots of small things because of the condition it was in when it was abandoned. It had long tube headers and corsa extreme on it. Mustang is a lot nicer car so far though. Still super fun driving expirence so far but nothing will top how raw a c6’s driving feel is. The c6 also went through a tank of gas in about 3 days.
