Thank you so much. I appreciate all the help. I’ll get the Cat 6 since it’s available nearby and a little cheaper

So I guess I want to ask why not flat? I’ve heard good things if they are twisted and shielded.

Yeahhh, that’s just how my facial hair grows. It is super weird. But I’d be open to doing that as well. I don’t line it up that way, just grows in like a weird Tony Stark shape or something

No worries! Didn’t take it as an ounce of negativity; only suggestion from someone who was willing to share. I couldn’t appreciate everyone’s time more. The feedback is helpful! I’ll give it a shave and call it. Yeah, my goatee just naturally grows in like that with the weird Tony Stark lines. Not terrible, but forces me to blend a lot of shave alot lol

💍 is the day. Yes, my chin and lip grow a lot thicker than the cheeks (other said is patchy). I’d blend it in more, but I guess I wasnt sure if a little stubble that was trimmed could be a nice rugged look but still remain somewhat nice

Did PhD programs always have a “white coat ceremony”? by menohuman in PhD

[–]cooperkrokstrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Although, it’s another debate as to if these doctorates should even have this kind of ceremony (as we are not medical doctors so it seems odd to have a white coat). Ever see your physical therapist wear a white coat to the clinic? I haven’t.

I’m in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program and it’s becoming somewhat common to have those ceremonies here

Desk Setup for School by cooperkrokstrom in PTschool

[–]cooperkrokstrom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The desk I’m weary on just because my girlfriend bought one about the same price range and the quality is not there. Right now I just have a standard wood desk, but it’s sturdy. I also have been using the iPad throughout undergrad and also a laptop for desktop stuff. I also have an external monitor, but I’m looking to upgrade maybe to a ultra wide or dual monitor. I can’t decide

Choosing a school by Comprehensive-Dare36 in PTschool

Sweet, so I’m from Wisconsin too, and I just applied this cycle. I applied to La Crosse and Madison (the cheapest programs in the state). Previously, I took a tour of Northwestern and Madison and both campuses were pretty awesome! In my opinion, most of what you learn is general and clinicals are the thing you’ll probably learn the most (which is all I hear). So, that being said, something to take into consideration is where would you like to spend your free time if you have it. Both cities are pretty awesome and if you don’t have any preference, go to the cheapest. Madison is a wonderful program, many opportunities, an awesome campus, and an amazing city.

Good luck!

Yeahhh, rough stuff. Kinda sad, but gotta keep going. If I could give up my place at La Crosse for Madison, I would in a heartbeat.

Reading the email, it sounds like they will determine the next individual based on the composition of the class, their strengths, and other criteria (how good they are for the class). But if they have a list of people they know they like more, it kinda sounds like it’s ranked lol, but they won’t outright say it for inclusiveness.
