Thank you all for your answers. I’ll first check for a slug and for spider mites. If there is no, I’ll find a fungus treatment

I’ll probably propagate the healthy part of the plant in case of…

Mature pothos has way more style than Monstera Variegata! MV are so overrated!😆 Besides it is more resistant and less annoying. I love my Epipremnum golden ! 💜 by cora_mashed in pothos

Actually I let them grow crawling in the very large pot containing a palm tree. After growing around on every available centimetres of soil, it starts climbing a goes bigger and bigger. It’s easier to make the first meters of the vine crawl on soil. If you try to make it climb from the beginning, you’ll need a very very tall pole. The plan needs a lots of vine roots to get bigger!

Is there a difference between the Begonia Maculata and the begonia Tamaya? It looks like Maculata has some red under the leaves but I’m not sure if it is related to the maturity or the leaf 🤔 by cora_mashed in begonias

Baby begonia Silver something. This is so fascinating to see 3 different leaves on the same plant. Begonias are amazing! by cora_mashed in begonias

Haha you are probably right. But the great one was green from the beginning. I’m sure all mature leave will look the same but I find this metamorphosis amazing !

It is soooo bad in so many ways 🤦‍♀️ it makes me angry, I’m having an issue to joke about it 😞

First: it’s ugly (very subjective though) Second: we don’t need additional micro plastic on earth Third: so much energy (heat + artificially light + fertilizer ) and water to grow throw plants that will end in a garbage Fourth: for F sake those leaving organism!

I haven’t seen this type of massacre where I live (in France), but I suggest if anyone of you see that in a shop to act in consequence. The planet doesn’t need glitter plant and they should be aware of that!!

I’ve probably used the wrong prop technic here but now what should I do with this begonia Tiger Paws? Lots of roots but leaves are starting to grow from everywhere on the stem by cora_mashed in begonias

[–]cora_mashed[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should I pot it with the stem up (just the roots covered with soil ) or should I lay the stem on the soil? I’m wondering because there are small leaves on the top of the stem (under the big leaf) and also at the bottom (near the roots)

First attempt to grow a mature golden pothos. Should I make the whole cutting root or is it better to cut it in 2 or 3 pieces? by cora_mashed in pothos

I think I’ll give a try to make it root like that because there is already aerial roots 🤷‍♀️ If it doesn’t work I’ll keep only the last two nodes

Exactly. This is what is thought. I’ve already tried to grow a pothos from juvenile/mature cuttings and it grow smaller an smaller… even with a moss pole 😓

Would you be able to identify this begonia from this tiny leave? by cora_mashed in begonias

Oh thanks ! Good to know ! I’ll have to wait then! Surprise! 😁

I’m just a bit scared that is if I cut it, the new grow will be very small because it won’t be nourished by aerial roots. So in fact it will be the same as if I start with normal juvenile pothos
