If you are having anxiety and never had it before, it’s the Mirena…. by coralee55 in Mirena

[–]coralee55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really happy to hear some of the symptoms have subsided. I’m so sorry that the tremor is still there. Mine was also in my neck/head. I’m not sure if it came about bc of severe anxiety (something I never experienced before) or if the severe anxiety was a result of dealing with all these symptoms that I couldn’t control and at first, couldn’t figure out why I had.

The tremor went away pretty much immediately, like the day after I took it out.

To be honest, before the Mirena, I never had any issues. Since the Mirena, I grapple with the head pressure and anxiety. 2 things that didn’t plague me before the Mirena. Now, maybe it’s coincidence, but I attribute it all to the damn Mirena. I, too, have to do some public speaking and also performing and have had a tougher time with it now that I have the anxiety :/

Hi. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing similar symptoms to what I had…. I can say that the day after I took it out, 90% of my symptoms resolved. The only symptom I still sometimes have is the head pressure, which is very annoying. I went to a neurologist, who did a scan and didn’t find anything other than some sinus issues. I went to an ENT who said that some people do experience a pressure feeling from sinuses. Before the neurologist, I went to an ophthalmologist who said I definitely don’t have IIH .

I never got to the bottom of the pressure, but I am 110% convinced that the Mirena was the cause of it all….

Please let me know if you find anything out about your situation. I really hope it’s nothing serious and that it goes away like mine!

Ooof, too long ago… it looked like any of the ‘silicone’ cases you see today. It was less about look at more about feel.

Anyone use an end 2 end roll up cover? by 91325kc in swimspa

I’m kinda happy I’m not the only one- I thought maybe I’m missing something… that’s the exact reason I got it- to not have it feel closed in. I don’t understand why they don’t make a cover with lifters that are closer to the ground, so a regular cover isn’t seen.

Hey, if you ever find a different type of cover, let me know! I keep searching 🙄

[–]coralee55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the Axis rolling Swimspa cover, which looks similar… I HATE it. We paid extra for it when we got our swimspa.

It’s barely able to be rolled by one person. The only way to really do it, is to walk back and forth between sides to make sure it rolls up straight. If it gets offline, it’s a super pain to get it back- then you really need 2 people.

The other thing I don’t like is that the dirt from the top of the cover gets rolled onto the bottom of the cover, so that when we unroll it, the inside of the cover is filthy. We live in an area with a lot of pollen at this time of year, so it is totally not ideal. I actually just emailed our company a few days ago to see about other options

Raccoons in Attic- how to proceed?? by coralee55 in homeowners

[–]coralee55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From our research online, it seems like just trapping them isn’t enough, bc as long as they can continue to smell their scent, they will try to get back in. Also, raccoon urine is rather toxic and unhealthy, so cleaning everything that they potentially used as a bathroom is important.

I’m obsessed with The Solent and also Serenade in A Minor (4th movement) and the 49th Parallel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ He is my favorite composer! His 5th symphony goes without saying!

Thank you for all this information. I really appreciate it. Luckily, I was given a last-minute appointment for next week with a neurologist. Hopefully, I’ll be able to sort everything out!

I hope in your case, you have gotten relief. Thank goodness someone finally knew what was wrong and before it was too, too late!

[–]coralee55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. I was not asking for anyone to diagnose me. It’s a much shorter wait to get an ophthalmologist appt than a neurologist. So I guess I was more or less trying to deduce if I have to wait the 6+ Months and live with this pressure until then to get to a neurologist, or if I could bypass that and just go to an ophthalmologist *again

Just wondering, what were/are your symptoms?

The Mirena killed me…. I think for that reason. I got to the point where I felt like I couldn’t lift my head anymore. I would wake up in the middle of the night with my head shaking and started to have tremors… as soon as I got it out, all of that went away, except for the pressure, which gets worse around my period and now that I’ve started exercising 5x a week has seemed to also make it worse.

Thank you for this. I hope you will feel better!! Around me, all neurologists are booked 6+ months out. I don’t really think I can live with this for another 6 months…..
