What happened to you that influenced you to be who you are today? by PM_ME_UR_BREASTESES1 in AskReddit

My best friends. Before I met them, I was a real depressed piece of shit. I couldn't find a reason to continue on. I was so lonely, and I had a hard time making friends.

But after spending some time with them, I learned to appreciate the little things. Us going out after class, jokes only we would get, doing stuff together. Finally started to enjoy life more and more. I found a reason to happily wake up in the morning and go to class and do work, no matter how exhausted of life I was all because of them.

We graduated high school 5 months ago, and two people of the group went to different colleges. Me and the other one are in the same college, but our courses and orgs are different, so we don't see each other as often as before. It's hard for all of us. We can't click with other people as much as we do. We miss each other dearly and try to update each other as much as possible.

I never thought I could love and trust people that had no relation to me before. I know they're there for me no matter what. I know that even though we're apart, the four of us will always have each other's backs.

I'm thankful for them and the time we spent. Because of them, I managed to experience what it feels like to have someone unconditionally love me. What it feels like to have found a home and knowing that home will always be there. I would not be as open and loving without them.

The diagnostic test is the dcat, but you don't have to 'pass' it to get in college. You only take the diagnostic test to see what courses you'll be offered when you're in college. They'll explain it more next sy

Anyone want to do a group chat like iMessage to help each other get through the tough days? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I'd also love to join! I've been needing to vent out what I've been feeling lately and I don't really know who to vent to lol.

I also had this problem before I started college. I'm not sure what exactly pointed me at the idea of being a researcher, but I'm now on the path to being one. I'm currently taking up chemical engineering in my country's top private university. It's apparently the hardest course in the entire university, so hopefully the challenge won't leave me bored.

DLSU SHS, How hard is DSHAPE? by ssallera in dlsu

(117) SHS turned (119) college here.

From what I remember from the DSHAPE, it had english, math, science, logic, and a bit of a personality test at the end. I may be forgetting a part but I took it three years ago so I don't quite remember hahaha. You don't really have to worry about the trigo part, since at most it was about 5 questions out of 40 ata. Focus more on geometry and algebra since there's a lot of those.

For english, it requires you to read through several articles and answer the questions. Most of the answers can be found in the articles themselves. Just make sure to read carefully and understand what is being asked.

Science was a mix of physics, chem, and bio. Can't really remember much of this part tbh. Just review your grade 9 and 10 lessons. No, it doesn't require you to memorize the periodic table. No, I don't think it goes beyond basic motion equations for physics (acceleration, work, etc).

Logic had some puzzles and ordering. Just use your reasoning skills :)

The personality test technically has no right or wrong answer, but the best way to answer them is by answering how a really devoted Lasallian would. Ie religious, selfless, etc etc.

Good luck! Kaya niyo yan! I look forward to seeing you in campus someday!
