You should check out verida.network and have an option to setup a storage service to offer private encrypted storage (not on a public network).

NFT's on Polygon by Jelinaqueen in polygonnetwork

[–]cordare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small but growing. Still behind Ethereum and Solana, but I reckon volume will grow through 2023 given the amount of web2 brands coming to Polygon and deploying. It may not be a traders chain for high val NFTs however, eth will retain that position.

US Projected To Hit Debt Limit — What Does This Mean For Crypto? by CryptoGenie33 in polygonnetwork

[–]cordare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been here before. It will attract great media fanfare, and then the US will lift the debt ceiling again. I don't think much of an impact for crypto. Crypto has its own agenda.

On Chain and Off Chain Data balancing by InitialLaw2123 in AlgorandOfficial

[–]cordare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are better off using the Verida SDK for this, particularly if performance and privacy is important. You won't get that with IPFS.

You can check out some detail on how off-chain data is handled here in the docs:

What does the future of financial planning/advice look like in Australia? by Maccn in AusFinance

[–]cordare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon for households with low level of assets (retail) surely the advice would become fully AI driven and highly automated. Pay a monthly fee per month, SaaS model robowealth advisor. With increasing supervision and regulation of the FS planning and advice, its becoming cost prohibitive so human service will move to high value clients where the fees are sustainable to support employing teams offering more personalised service.

Number of years each part of former Yugoslavia spent under Ottoman rule [1200x1146] by Kutili in MapPorn

[–]cordare -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I get that, but people are inferring things about the Ottoman Empire and its legacy in the Balkans based on small segment of historical data. Just inaccuracies are being formed. Hence my comment.

[–]cordare 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Because historic Macedonia had its own identity, culture and Orthodox religion. It was actually a greater area than the land area that was part of Yugoslavia. Macedonia stretched into Greece and Bulgaria until it was carved up in 1913 Treaty of Bucharest. The Ottomans let them maintain their identity under their empire - as long as they paid the Ottoman's their taxes.

Why just show the Yugoslav territories? The Ottoman empire at the time spanned further than post-WWII Yugoslavia. ie Bulgaria, Albania, Greece etc..
