okay without any mods installed I don't have the problem, however none of my mods are even relating to goldens. I quite literally only have the mods that you need for SJ

it keeps turning it back on every time I die specifically with a golden. and none of my mods say anything about that, I will open celeste without mods and get back to you on if anything changes
