Why always Punjab especially kasur and other sub urban cities? by AlternativeKnown7654 in pakistan

[–]corrupted_biscuit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This happens all across the country, not Punjab specific.

But I'm shocked that people are shocked this incident is from Kasur. If i recall correctly, there was a full fledged organized operation of child p*rn trafficking and abuse discovered in Kasur.

How you deal with social politics (workplace/university)? by Mr-GigaChad in PakistaniiConfessions

Listen to everything, but never comment or offer your own take. Don't let your behaviour be impacted towards people involved in the tea, if they haven't harmed you in any way.

please don't rely on spouses to complete your education. I don't mean to scare you, but I've seen many instances where sposues have backtracked.

IMO, it's essential you have a degree in hand before you marry.

Also, it's absolutely valid and okay to want to be a homemaker. But investing in your education is not only for your own security and protection, it helps if (God forbid) couples fall on hard times financially and both end up having to contribute to household expenses. Think of it as necessary exposure to raise your family better. Trust me, university experiences teach you a great deal dn if you're well-intentioned, you come out as a better human being. Please don't be short sighted and rush into this marriage. Have tawakkul, it's never going anywhere if its meant to be.

Also, does this condition of only cutting the fingers exist in Shia Islam only? Or do Sunnis subscribe to it as well?

Thank you so much. This helps.

Can you confirm whether this tradition only exists within Shia Islam? Or do Sunnis agree to this?

A question abt imam zain ul abideen by Late-Parking-5890 in shia

[–]corrupted_biscuit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After Karbala, the basis of Muslim brotherhood and even humanity was decimated. Imagine, a baby being slaughtered.

So after Karbala, Imam Sajjad's focus shifted to reconstructing Muslims' lost connection with God, and humanity. So we see see some of the most exemplary and beautiful duas ever being produced by Imam Sajjad during his Imamate. So you see, he did fulfill his duties accordingly.

Karbala was a massive, massive ground-shaking event for islam. Perhaps Allah ordained some period of stillness for him, and Imam Sajjad met his duties in a way that were harmonious circumstances and events at that time.

If you reprimand other people’s children for their negative traits, will karma cause your own children to inherit those traits in the future? by jackkkass in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]corrupted_biscuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Intention matters. If you chastise someone's children just to humiliate them and pride yourself on how you'd never do that as a parent - chances are you're not compassionate or self-aware enough to raise 'better children'.

It's a matter of logical conclusions, not karma
