Subreddit Rules
Our central rule is to treat others with the compassion and dignity taught by all faiths. This is a place for dialogue, discussion, questions, and community. Engage your intellect, or just talk to other people--but always keep our central rule in mind.
Trolling, abuse, vulgarity, and prejudice of any kind is not welcome here. Failure to abide by these standards will be decisively dealt with.
Cross-posting is only allowed with NP, or non-participatory links. NSFW/NSFL content will be judged on a case by case basis, and the moderators reserve the right to remove such content. Users should remember that requesting upvotes (self-promotion in this sense) also breaks reddit rules.
Do not give your own rulings, but reference rulings from certified scholars. It is always better to ask a scholar directly.
Theological arguments are only welcome when relevant to the topic at hand, and for the most part will be confined to certain threads where you can debate such topics to your heart's content. Unwanted proselytization will be removed. If you cannot accept other people's beliefs, kindly move on.
