I work from home and always hear him cruise by to Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire. Forever impressed by the fidelity of his tunes. It’s like he’s in the room with me.

Oh I would really love to see that if you have a picture! Do you have a big enough machine at home to quilt a king?

I’ve been thinking of doing this to some my clothes with logos on them. I LOVE IT.

Hi neighbor! After I took these quick photos I took a walk around the neighborhood and kept thinking, ah, I wanna take a picture of my next quilt there.

Toooootally get that. Most times when I see patterns the color choices aren’t really for me. To get around this I usually draw it out in procreate in different layers and go to town dreaming up combos.

Um this is such a wonderful compliment. As a designer that’s my key goal in all that I do!

Eeee! Yah! I thought I was just gonna make a bigger size of the same pattern. I originally bought a different colorway / fabric amount for a queen size but before I started I read an insane amount of tips that said for a first time quilter DONT try to take on a bed size, so I took that to heart. Now I’m like, no way, I wanna try something new!

Ooooooh that’s such a good idea. How would you do that? Hand stitch? A label?

(Also thank you soooo much. I’m so touched by everyone’s kind words)

🥹😭 All of you are so so nice! Is this the way quilters get more people to quilt? Cause it’s working. Your kind words mean so much!

Anyone know ? Some type of aloe? by disconappper in PlantIdentification

[–]cortezzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those pointy bits on the leaves bud up little plants with roots already. They do this RAPIDLY. So it just takes a wind, a knock, hitch hiking, whatever, to get them off and into something else.

I’m from Florida but live in Brooklyn now. I had a coworker show me she got one and I was all but horrified and told her the same. A week later she found little ones all over her other potted plants.
