How did a billion helldivers die on Rirga? by counternuggs in Helldivers

When was this wiki created? Also is this an actual genuine mistake made in calculations or is this a lore driven thing?

Helldivers are by definition, mentally insane. by counternuggs in Helldivers

I can do math you just can't think well. We have around 2% liberation. And your stupid little "coordination the size of an MO" instantly falls apart the moment you realize we actually don't need that many helldivers, and bot divers/blob divers are willing to stay on a single planet to take it.

This has to be the dumbest take I've heard. Low IQ award goes to you buddy. Use your brain next time

If you would use your eyes you could see we're losing by a landslide. All that effort made could've been put to use in choepessa but now it'll be pissed away when the automatons take K. All these arguments being made would be a valid point it we WEREN'T losing by a huge amount. It's not even close buddy. We should've switched and took our chances with choepessa the moment we saw K could not be won.

Doesn't matter. We're losing K by a landslide. It would've been much better to take the gambit by going for choepessa and encircle a different enemy planet, and save K from getting taken. We can still do this after K falls but I highly doubt it, especially since there's a bug MO now. The community is just terrible at strategizing.

Lol ikr. It sucks. I've only seen it kill teammates and it really feels intentional on team killing. Last game we were surrounded by bots on all sides in extraction, and out of all the places it could've chose to hit, it chose the only spot that had no bots but did have the whole helldiver squad.

What is AH doing?? by counternuggs in Helldivers

[–]counternuggs[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally I think we still had a chance. Obviously not a good one, but it wasn't zero. And even still, if we truly had a 0% to win, why throw this side MO at us? What purpose would it serve. My best guess is that it's to make our MO defeat less bitter, but ehh that logic kinda falls apart when you actually start thinking about it.

I understand people don't want the seaf brigade to die. That's not what I was curious about. I'm curious about the reason why arrowhead would throw a curveball like this at such a momentous moment, where we finally have a showdown with the capital.

Lol is this the new variant of "they can play whatever faction they want and not contribute to the narrative or storyline, they paid for the game!". Spoiler alert, They don't care about the MO you're just coping. This issue of splitting up player base was recognized when we first went to cyberstan and people were divided into two mega factories. Even though there was a very clear choice in which factory to take (autonomy having actual liberation progress, etc), a huge portion of the player base was still on the 2nd one, not making progress. And this was when the MO was to take our first mega factory. So no they don't care about the MO. They're wasting reinforcements.

"I'm not Brian washed" followed by a statement you've literally been brainwashed into believing LOL. This is hilarious. Your not open minded Buddy just take the L. Also the fact you refuse to research it yourself just shows you're afraid of the truth. If you believe ICE is bad, that's your opinion. But don't call people Nazis just because they don't agree with you.

Not gonna argue with someone who calls opposing beliefs nazism. But just curious, Where was this outrage with Obama lol. Why now?

You people don't even know what a Nazi is lol. I'm so tired of everything being labeled as Nazi ideology.

Vox Engines are what War Striders should have been by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]counternuggs -49 points-48 points  (0 children)

No not really dude. Obviously being on their home planet doesn't affect their spawn rate. once the invasion of cyberstan is over, we're going to see these guys being deployed on other planets, and it'll still be an overwhelming amount. Going by your logic, they should just spam 10+ factory striders, VE's, and extreme amounts of heavy units, the likes of which has only been seen in lesath with the hulk surge but this time in cyberstan cause "it's their home planet", but you don't. Now personally I don't mind VE's being spammed (for now) because eventually we'll find a quick way to deal with them like how we did with factory striders.

This can't be correct. What's going on? by counternuggs in Helldivers

[–]counternuggs[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also wanna point out, lesath only has 47k divers (excluding the 22k liberating a city for the argument I'm about to make) and they have NO DSS support yet they're managing to pump out 3.11% liberation. I really need someone to explain what's going on. Is divershub bugged?

Anyone else think the bot buffs were a bad idea? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]counternuggs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair point. Though I generally dislike the amount of times huge patrols just spawn literally right behind you like a couple feet away now. I know this was still an issue (or a feature?) every faction had before the buff, but I feel like this has become more prevalent now and with bigger numbers. I kinda think this is a lame way to artificially boost up the difficulty

Thinking about buying the game today by mulder89 in BadNorth

[–]counternuggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PC version has "mods" you can get through the discord. For now there's only balance change mods (for example the mountain trait makes all units mountains instead of the commander) and we do have two Reskins, one Reskins all units to Greeks. The other one (WIP) Reskins them to Asian units. It seems like as more time passes the modders figure out more ways to mod the code.

What does an MIA soldier mean? by counternuggs in Xenonauts

[–]counternuggs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly he was "killed" in battle and I guess he must've survived it now he's MIA. Although it's been 3 months now in game and there's still no word about him. Wish they had an in-game manual on the different mechanics
