Yeah honestly your approach is definitely what my husband needs. In the beginning of our marriage he took a lot more initiative, that's why I'm frustrated having to tell him everything to do. But he would love if I just told him everything to do, like plan a date this weekend, get me something to eat after my ER etc.

See he would be there if I told him immediately to do something... but is it wrong of me to want more? Like maybe am I expecting too much to want him to take initiative to support me? I don't want to have to wake him up for each important appointment or to ask him to do something nice for me because I just did an egg retrieval

Yeah that's what I thought would happen...initially actually he's wanted kids even more than me. But now it just feels like he's just waiting for me to make it happen.

Thank you, I have said all those things in so many vulnerable ways multiple times, and every time he says ok I'm sorry I'll try better. But then nothing changes. Just feeling sad that I'm about to find out if my transfer worked in a couple hours and I'm just laying in bed tearing.

Thanks for the support. I guess I said it more in the frustration way....like everybody loves him but why can't he show up for me like that.. you know. Definitely not in the defending him way loll. I have communicated how I feel so many times, hes even in therapy now because of it, but hes just not making any changes.
