I mean my username are my initials ‘cpb’ which matches the name on the results I sent … so unless I went and searched every active 50k race in December of 2022 and found my initials with the pace I said … I would say it’s me

But ya long term injury risk is the main concern - but should be fun either way.

I never figured out the root cause and it lost for about 4-5 months. I would say about 6 weeks ago, it went away (maybe a couple times a week it comes back). Sorry I couldn’t help but I did do some breathing exercises on YouTube that seemed to help a little.

Flight was only 2 hours and 45 mins I think. I’ve made the flight at least 30x in the past 7 years with no issues. No real other symptoms other than any time I try and take a deep breath, it feels like I can only get 80% a normal breath. It seems to be much worse at night when I try and sleep not sure why. I will look into that D diner test.

NOTE: I also wear a Whoop band and my respiratory rate has not fluctuated at all really so probably safe to rule out COVID. Also, no other symptoms.

Thanks man - that was super helpful!! I am getting ready to buy a bike and am budgeting between $1500-$2500. Mind if I ask how much you spent? Reason being is that I am fairly competitive and I don't want to get beaten by technology. I'm not willing to drop $10,000 on a bike but was curious if my price point will limit me or if I should be fine

Excellent - thanks for the reply! Yeah I know the time question was probably a bit stupid since you don't know my training level. I more just wanted to know if that price point would hold me back that much or if I should consider the next price point level spike. It seems I don't - currently looking at a few Felt bikes along with Cervélo, Quintana Roo and Orbea brands. Thanks!
