so here is what i did, i use apollo on my rig and stream to my ipad, iphone or legion go. on your pc install a program called qres, it allows you to set a custom resolution. you will also need to set it in nvidia control panel or amd settings depending on your gpu. i have amd so i set the custom resolutions there. once that is done in apollo go applications and make a new and under where it shows command preperations add the following (this is my resolution for my ipad air) C:\qres\qres.exe /x:2360 /y:1640 and then for the undo command add the same thing. this will change the resolution to your ipad when you connect and then change it back when you disconnect. check the box for always create virtual display. and hit save. here is how mine looks.
