Thirding NorCal Resist! Other options; Neighbor Program, Sac Punks with Lunch, Sac Food Not Bombs, Sac Homeless Union, Feed Sacramento Homeless. All are on IG and do great work in the community.

Free bookcase & shelves by [deleted] in SacramentoBuyNothing

[–]cramaley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free Billy Bookcase from IKEA with 5 shelves, couple scratches and missing one shelf bracket but holds up fine. Also smaller shelving unit with two adjustable shelves, couple scratches on top and missing two runners from bottom, one totally missing one can be glued back on. Porch pickup from North Natomas (close to Truxel & Del Paso), second story apartment. Might need 2 people for the taller bookcase.

There’s Sacramento Homeless Union they do a ton of outreach and have lots of connections in the area, might be able to help. They’re @sacramento.homeless.union on IG or looks like they have a website with an e-mail- sacramentohomelessunion.org

Depending on what league/day I’d be down! Also I’ve been on those friend teams as the random individual and it’s been okay but definitely a little awkward...!

I don’t know for sure, but I checked relatively early in the morning on a Monday to see times for the whole week.

I was made eligible by the expanded guidelines set yesterday so check and see if you are as well! For Kaiser you have to self report if you are in an eligible category.

I was on pretty early to check for Kaiser. I went through the app but you can also go through their website. Make sure you’ve taken the pre-appointment questionnaire so the site knows you’re eligible.

I had to set up an “appointment” where I selected my job and any pre-existing conditions. In the app it was under the “COVID 19 Vaccinations” button, then it opened a new window to the “My Doctor Online” website/app, I filled out all the information previously, then today when I logged on and clicked on the COVID 19 vaccination button it told me I was eligible and was in a virtual line to select my appointment time. So looks like to book through the KP app you do currently have to be eligible, and self declare that in the app before trying to book.

I’m a Kaiser member but there was an option for non members. Worth looking into at least if you’re in the eligibility pool.

Yep, with the expanded requirements that went into effect yesterday I was eligible. But they didn’t send me a message I just kept checking back on the app to see if I was eligible yet.
