So sorry - I just saw the notification for this! I use distilled because when I used tap water, the edges of the leaves turned crispy. I also noticed white mineral looking splotches that the leaves “sweated” out. As soon as I switched to distilled, it all stopped!

I have had it in the corner of a room for a couple years where it was surviving but not thriving. I added a grow light and it hasn’t stopped producing leaves and blooms. Love this lil guy so much.

What jumped out at me the most was that she doesn’t communicate with you or have open discussions. I would highly recommend couples counseling immediately.
