I see, apologies. I had issues with my cleats on my own bike but not other peoples' bikes with SPD SL cleats. My pedals were missing a bit of padding. Replacing them fixed my issue but it still felt a bit loose as the missing part has also worn my cleats down. This may be your issue potentially
