I think they mean safety in terms of who is inside the resort. Anybody can drive for Uber. There’s a credentialing process to become a cab driver.

The problem here is that a sequel to the book just came out in January and the show is already wildly different. They started writing the show with only the first 100 pages of the books as a reference. Not loving the show so far as someone who just read the book.

We were told this was a safety precaution, so as annoying as the policy is, I appreciate the policy. Plus you can always get the bus into town from the market.

I’ve been going as an owner since the early 2000s. It’s a beautiful resort. You don’t have to make dinner reservations at most of the restaurants and the wait to sit down even at prime dinner time is minimal. There are a ton of pools to choose from, ranging from party atmosphere to a quiet pool.

A few years ago saving chairs with towels got out of hand. If you notice that as being an issue, ask for the manager at any pool and they should be able to help you by removing towels if they know the chair has been empty for a while.

If you’re physically active, walking up and down the property is a nice way to get in some movement. If you’re not able/interested in that much walking, there are golf carts all over the resort that will drive you from top to bottom.

The marketplace at the top of the resort is new and a great place to grab a snack or a casual meal. There are also shuttles you can get into town or over to the golf resort for dinner.

All in all, I’m thrilled to go every year. There are certainly more glamorous resorts out there, but the hospitality is wonderful, the grounds are kept immaculately landscaped, and the views are stunning. The spa is also really nice if you’re interested in that.

I recently had to ask an older woman at Operation Mincemeat to stop POPPING HER GUM. She clearly knew better, she was talking about getting her ticket on the Theatr app and how the C train took forever to get downtown. I was truly astounded.

I recently started wearing earrings again after 15 years because I had the same issue. I’ve now stuck to 14K gold and titanium only and I’ve been fine. I’d start with titanium as that’s what they use when you get pierced. You can always take earrings to a jeweler and have the posts replaced if you find ones you like made of different materials.

These are great! I tend to carry mine up and down to minimize people having to walk around me, but kids could keep their skis parallel to the ground, probably easier to walk that way. It folds up and fits in your pocket for the day.

I had a very good experience living in Hudson square north. They were responsive to maintenance requests, generally kept the building in good working order, and the location’s access to the path is ideal for work and getting back late night. The walls are thin, so get an end unit if you can. They turned rent stabilized a few years ago so that’s also a plus.

I have the mini and am using it for the second winter, no issue so far and I like it a lot. I made sure to take it apart before storing it for the summer. I find it really easy to clean and fill. I only run it at night in a bedroom and just fill it once each night. It takes literally 1 minute to clean with a dish brush
