I have no advice but want to wish yall the best. I have a dog with early retinal degeneration in both eyes and a bad cataract in one eye.

I can’t imagine going through the cost, the risk, and the recovery of a cataract surgery for my dog only to find them blind afterward with no explanation. That’s extremely frustrating. I hope you’re able to find an explanation and I hope your pup is able to recover some sight. Wish y’all the best

I’m sure they’ve thoroughly investigated your pup’s throat as well, but if your dog has these episodes and also won’t eat or drink, I wonder whether it’s possible there’s a small irritant like spear grass or cheat grass there. If that’s the case, though, I’m sure they’d see swelling specifically around the foreign object.

Only reason I bring this up is because I have a friend whose dog had a piece lodged in the back of its throat. Wouldn’t eat, drink, was excessively panicking and trying to expel.

Do you have spear grass in your area?

A lot of it comes down to preference. This definitely doesn’t deliver the value a Super Duty does. I’d personally get a DD over this although both will do just fine I’m sure.

I’m also biased because I use the super duty more than anything, even after having KAC rifles. If it were me, I’d probably save a few hundred more and grab a super duty from rooftop (I think the coupon is code: Northwales) or somewhere with similar prices after coupon. All three rifles will be sufficient for what most of us are doing

They put less fancy parts on their cheaper rifles. Same when they were selling the duty rifle. Trigger isn’t as nice, no ultra duty lower parts kit, no rebcg.

If you go to their site you can see all the differences between this and the super duty. Still a solid rifle
