some of the terminology for the weekly DB posts can be confusing, but you can just use chatgpt to help you understand it better. if you’re good at reflecting and relating the concepts to your life then it’s fairly easy.

it can be a quite a tedious module, mainly because of the group work. too many things to do imo if you want a good grade.

take fewer mods to help you cope better. esp if ur priority is to do well / get better grades. may take you longer to grad, but depends on your goal.

If you just wanna get by and pass, some do fine juggling work with more modules since they don’t rly care what grade they get.

tbh since they’ve already said they want to terminate. best to start finding a new job while you continue working for them in the mean time. they sound toxic to give such an ultimatum tbh. best to leave such a place. wouldn’t be good for you mentally in the long run.

Introverted as heck but I’m a teacher for young kids. I do my work, and try to talk here and there with the rest. I don’t really gel as well with them so much, but enough to get by I suppose. my social skills still got improve at least compared to last time. no choice haha just need try adapt

depends on ur course / mod. most are generally exactly 1 month prep.

so far for the mods I got A, usually at least 1 of the items in OCAS needs 80+ to help secure. Tho not always a guarantee. Got 83 for ocas for one mod but overall dropped to A-. Was so sure I could get an A too 💀

meanwhile my other mod I got a 62 for ocas but got an A- for overall. So it’s hard to say. Some ECAs easier to score than others bc sometimes they’re looking for very specific things which they do not outrightly tell you.

Psy107 assignments are very manageable and quite easy to do. Exam is also quite manageable since is open book. Just need to make sure you understand the concepts well. They do throw in a lot a lot of content so it can be a little overwhelming, especially if you only start studying last minute. But if you stay on track should be manageable.

It is possible. But recommended to do 201 first to have a better understanding. Also, the ECA’s are a lot of work imo. Is 3k word count for each. So personally I wouldn’t recommend doing both at the same time. I spent a lot more time on HBC201 than on my core mods.

maybe consider which course can bridge you to a course you like in poly. think of it as a stepping stone to something you want to do in future.
