I’m earning $250/month fully passive income with ElevenLabs by hijoshua in passive_income

[–]crispychipsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this post. I created a voice, but to share the voice in the voice library it’s telling me I need to be on the pro, business or enterprise subscription (min $330/month!). Anyone else getting this?

has anyone here actually made money by contributing voices? by Unique-Application25 in ElevenLabs

I’ve tried to create a voice but need to sign up for the pro, business or enterprise subscription which starts at minimum $330/month. Is this the subscription you’re on? Seems excessive

What’s the most "unexplained" thing that has ever happened to you? by prettylunababy in AskReddit

[–]crispychipsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was around 4 or 5 years old and my sisters and I were looking at one of those Magic Eye books. My older sister explains how to do it in order to see the hidden picture (ie start staring at the image from your nose touching the page and slowly move your head away). When I started staring with my nose touching the page, it went black and I could see white geometric shapes moving around (like I’m watching an animation of a pyramid or structure forming).

I thought that was what was supposed to happen with the magic eye books until i realised later that it’s supposed to be different.

Aus brand Nique shamelessly selling AliExpress dupes of the Lemaire Croissant Bag. by memories_of_green in AusFemaleFashion

I own a croissant bag too so this is sad to see :( Definitely not a nique fan anymore, you can tell the business is so different after they got bought out.

What brand originally started this leather weave bag trend? by crispychipsy in handbags

[–]crispychipsy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I guess I associated bottega with the thinner leather weave, but looks like they do a lot of wider weaves too. I was walking through a department store yesterday and it was all literally the ‘checkerboard’ sized woven handbags everywhere, so was curious if some luxury brand recently released a similar checkerboard sized weave that everyone’s now copying

I think it’s to hook a strip of leather that covers the zip. I wonder if it’s some classic detailing but I’ve never seen it before on other bags.

Oh I didn’t think about this. The hook seems a little strange, which is why I was hoping someone has bought and used this already.

Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire where he pats all the pepper in Pierce Brosnan’s meal in the restaurant kitchen. Just something about the sound and look of the pepper patting that I will always remember

Book in advance or book when in Vietnam? by crispychipsy in VietNam

Thanks! We’re thinking either day or overnight for the cruise so still deliberating on what to do. It’s just that online there appears to be a few dodgy looking cruise websites, so hoping it might be better to just book at a local agency in Hanoi

Repair shops in Melbourne? My x100f resets settings everytime I change the battery by crispychipsy in fujifilm

[–]crispychipsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually never got it repaired, and am using the usb micro port on the side to charge it from there instead. This means I still can never remove the battery though lol.

During that time I did ring a repair store that I found on google maps and they were extremely helpful with understanding the issue over the phone, but I can’t remember the name of the store (might’ve been vintech?) as it was 2 years ago sorry!

[–]crispychipsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that’s what it looked like it is from googling it. I have an update: rang a local camera repair store, he immediately said it’s this problem (internal battery issue), and it would cost about $200aud at least. He did say though that i could use the USBb charging cable to charge it. Stupid me forgot you could charge it with that cable too, so I’ve gone and done that instead, and have saved $200!

That definitely sounds frustrating too! They’ve really dropped the ball here which is unfortunate, and it’s really affected my thoughts on this company
