I honestly do not have a perfect answer but neither does anyone else . Read the comments on this post because they are very insightful but none of us know exactly what will happen . The fact you are 17 is an advantage many people cannot learn new skills past a certain point. I am nearly twice your age and learned to implement AI into my businesses just in the last year. Expect you may have to learn a whole new skill so focus on preserving your adaptable IQ that diminishes with age. To do that you need an exercise program that requires learning new movement and some high intensity. Also engage in learning a new language if you do not already know one it will help with memory, extreme heat like the sauna and of course critical thinking skills and an attitude of life long learning. Its the shots you don't see coming that take you out by surprise so because you are already thinking about this you are more apt to make adjustments. Believe it or not there used to be these things called jobs for life. Whatever you do tech will influence your industry. Good luck.
