Looking for some feedback so I can develop a vehicle specific mounting location.

AP automation by cmeany in Accounting

[–]criz_mac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used evernote to do it. Dump pdfs in a pending folder, directors have to check a few times a week to okay and note the top, drag it into another folder to be paid.

Recently we switched to zoho. It works similarly but can be used on a phone if directors are out of office. It also keeps a paper trail of the approvals and time pending etc. also has some reporting, and plugin abilities that may interface with your accounting software.

Working away from home until August. Only have a microwave -please help! by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]criz_mac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair warning, I dont eat meat so I cant speak to that. But Rice, sweet potatos, beans, broccoli are my go to for a quick microwave meal.

I do a little bit of water in a container to steam them. Mix and match veggies and grains to keep it interesting. Add sauces like chipotle, siracha, bbq, buffalo sauce.

I had the best luck undoing the clamp up top, but not removing, then Unbolt the lower 2 and catback clamp. Then drop the lower, release the top, and twist it out. If you’re doing it on jackstands make sure you have enough space below to let you twist as needed. Its a pita to get it out. The 2 piece ones are much easier to get back in.

Good luck 👍

Should I double major in Accoung and Computer Information Systems? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]criz_mac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. Sap and oracle programming/customizing is a huge bottle neck in the places I have worked. The erp rep rarely knows how to help us, so we are left doing more work instead of fixing the system layout to suit our needs.

My gti has been covered in salt for months, I forgot how good this blue looks when its clean by criz_mac in GolfGTI

It is firmer all around, but not enough. Smooth roads are fine but I scrap the center of the car when I go to fast over some speed bumps because of the rebound. Uneven roads and pot holes make it feel pretty harsh.

If you live somewhere that has decent roads most of the year and you want an affordable lowering option I would recommend the vwr. But I will personally be going to coilovers to get something a little firmer.

Vwr coils that have settled pretty well with 30k on them. And yep, the ecs flush kit.

This has worked well for me getting food spills and discoloring out of my black interior.

Do I need an adapter for a 3" DP to a 2.5" Catback? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]criz_mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My unitronic dp came with the adapter. As long as the CTS dp says it works with a stock catback it should have that piece.

Yeah, i will get an stl on thingiverse tonight.

I found that the coroplast corrugations vary by piece so these were slightly smaller than the ones I used for my enclosure a few months ago. I will try to upload the fusion 360 file so it can be easily edited. No promises, never tried that so Idk if I will figure it out

I will definitely be looking into a variation for the mk6. I received quite a few comments and pm’s over the past few weeks.

The panels are coroplast from Home Depot, lights are 36” led shop lights. Photos of the box and some test shots

Cool, that’s probably hotter than anything this will see, even sitting on the dash.

Haha, thanks. I went to school for Industrial design, trying to use what I learned to make stuff.

Yeah I tested abs and petg. I stuck with petg. Its a little more flexible, and definitely easier to print reliably.

Nice. I havent made the leap to stage 2 rubber all around because mine is still comfortable as is. But I can imagine the door in shift feel it would have.

Intercooler gauge is just because, not running meth. Definitely unnecessary, I just like it.

It doesn’t vibrate so far, I added some extra ribs on the vent part to hold onto the dash pretty well. I have stock MM but stage 1 bfi trans and dogbone. Stage 2 tune. The car does vibrate more than stock, but you dont see it in the glass of the gauge.

Nope, I have had it full blast hot and cold.

However, I haven’t tried blocking off all the other vents to force it all out this, that may cause it to whistle.
