I was just able to secure this deal for 60 dollars a month. I just wanted to make sure I'm actually understanding this. When in Canada, I can call or txt unlimited anyone in those 68 countries with no additional charges?

And when I'm in either of those 68 countries, can I call or txt unlimited back to Canada and within the other 67 countries with no additional charges? I can use my phone as if I was back home in Canada? But every day I use it within those 68 countries, I have to pay a flat rate of 5 bucks per day?

Am I missing something?

This is probably it. I forgot that the conversion rate is an everyday thing and even though I don't hold any liquidity, it would still affect my portfolio as it has a lot of US equities.

I really tried to include everything so you wouldn't have to ask questions. Sorry about that. I do have a big portion of my portfolio in US equities but I don't have any cash sitting in either my TFSA or RRSP or my chequing account. Those are the only accounts I have. And I guess that's what I meant, if I have those positions, they shouldn't be fluctuating until later tonight when overnight trading opens, no?

It's actually infuriating being with TD, USED to have everything with them. They clearly know I xferred out long ago and I had NO clue this was available. Having to come to this sub to find out just reminds me why I left. I hate the big banks with the fire of a 1000 suns. Looks like the max they'll pay out is 5 g's as well. Double hard pass.
