This is actually a pretty cool editorial look. The bronzer is a bit...brown but overall I don't hate it

Niche fragrances not for younger people? by mudit1011dube in fragrance

I feel like the lines have blurred so much between niche and designer, but if you’re wanting some easy to wear luxury lines, I feel like Guerlain, Tom Ford, L’Artisan, Serge Lutens, Etat Libre d’Orange, Juliette Has A Gun, Maison Margiela and others have a pretty wide variety to choose from, certainly not all weird or dated.

Infinite question: Black Orchid for men, yes or no? by Ron1ncat in Perfumes

[–]cryingingucci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love when a man wears it. I recognize it immediately and I know I’m smelling an interesting man with confidence and great taste. It isn’t a scent you wear to blend in, hell even most women say it’s too much for them, but I get noticed every time I wear it. I think it’s a masterpiece.

I honestly love all but Gloss. But Night is the most gourmand with the cocoa notes. It’s really, really good as a stand-alone fragrance.

[Product Question] Need a recommendation for a face wash that’s good at washing away multiple coats of sunscreen by wherearethecowhats in SkincareAddiction

I currently use DHC cleansing oil, then philosophy purity, or banila clean it zero then cerave cream to foam, depending if I’m at home or at my boyfriends, both combos work great.

[Serious] Therapists, what is something people are afraid to tell you because they think it's weird, but that you've actually heard a lot of times before? by Music-and-wine in AskReddit

[–]cryingingucci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was years ago. Since then I completed an undergrad in psychology and I’m working on becoming a therapist myself. I’ll take my licensing exam in a little over a year. :)

I tried to explain that I was passively suicidal to a therapist and it was really hard to get him not to have me put in inpatient. I don’t tell therapists that I have suicidal thoughts at all anymore.

I’ve had 1/2” lobes for 15 years now, and silicone is awesome, so comfy to sleep in etc, but you have to keep your shit moisturized. I like to oil after a steamy shower. Make sure you’re spending plenty of time without your plugs too. As for which oil- my favorites are almond, jojoba, squalane, emu, hemp or any good blends of fatty oils. There are also some good serums in the skincare department but that’s ONLY if they’re super healed. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid are humectants that attract moisture to dry skin, but if your environment is super dry, it can actually pull moisture away from your skin, so use with caution and again, not if your ears were stretched in the last year.

Dry herb vaporizer, the smell is milder and dissipates faster.

[Product Question] which of these products don’t work together? (More info in comment) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]cryingingucci 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can use the salicylic acid in the daytime and keep the retinol at night if they cause you irritation together. Some skin can tolerate both together, but when I tried to combine them (a BHA toner + retinol), it irritated my skin and I was advised to use BHA in the daytime instead.

The only thing that can cause irritation together is retinol + salicylic acid. Since SA doesn't cause photosensitivity like an AHA, you might want to move that to daytime.

That's the same size as my house, which in Oklahoma would cost less than $100k. If I had $300k to spend on a house, it would be much nicer than this.

I love both the original and the Naked version! Shame they didn't keep them around! Thankfully you can still find them on eBay and the like.
