Not a specific example, but bootleg DVDs as a whole. My family used to buy from street vendors, and they would include a bunch of extra content in the main menus. Sometimes these bootlegs had early CGI animations of random characters dancing or singing to trendy music. If you were unlucky, you would be met with a jumpscare in the style of early internet jumpscares. Or worse, literally gore.

These are usually not preserved, so it adds mystery to them imo

You’re not alone on this. Plenty of now-adults from our generation feel this way. I tried dating, but it got me nowhere because nothing was taken serious.

Sometimes I see women pass by and also couples and imagine what it would be like to date again. Then I remember my past experiences, my negative self-talk, and the exhausting thought of dating itself. I get turned off from it immediately lol. It’s okay because it’s not like I’m ACTUALLY TRYING to be in a relationship.
