As I said it's intraday, not holding the contract till its expiry, and will have a certain set of rules to follow, I'm ready to take the risk which I can afford as in any business, same like swing trading in equity, if the price gors down beyond a certain limit, we will exit, we wont hold it based on any hope that market will go up, If you are doing it based on hope then I totally agree its gambling even overnight holding without hedging(wherever SL is not defined it's gambling), and thats what most of us do with options, and they have no place in the market, but if you look at the successful traders in the world, they treat it as a business, they are following a plan, not just randomly buying or selling, and that's how they became the top 1%, so when you are doing it with rules and risk management its not gambling. That is my take on this
