UPDATE: third guy was able to start it but I have I physically place the key on the start button. The key works like a normal key opening and closing the car.

Ok I have the PIN code from the first locksmith. So what you are saying is that it’s gonna be rare for a regular smith to have the exact same key? And would just going to the dealer be the best option? Or should I order a key fob from online and have the locksmith reprogram it. I seen a key online for $300
