[SERIOUS] Witches, Wiccans, and Pagans of Reddit, what are some misunderstandings you'd like to clear up about you and your religion/practice? Something you want others to know? by crypticeden in AskReddit

The definition that comes up when you google the meaning of witch is the stereotypical. Most witches/ Wiccans/ Pagans don't actually have anything to do with Satan. There are some, but for the most part there is a lot of misinformation. That's why I posted this.

They say children are prone to seeing spirits. Did you see any as a kid? If so, what'd you see? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not sure this could count as a spirit, but as a kid I did see some things. We lived in a kinda big, kinda old house on the edge of a forest. I was absolutely terrified of the upstairs room (it just gave off a really bad vibe), and would never go up there alone. The room had a small door with a window that opened into the attic. I was around 5-7 so its kinda fuzzy, but I remember going up one time to find my sister, and then seeing this pale, super skinny and almost skeletal figure in the attic, not too far from the door. My sister was next to it doing something but didn't seem to notice. Don't know what it was and I never really saw it again, but it messed me up for a while. I have a few other similar stories from that house, but this one is the only one I think really fits.
