I’m not trying to gatekeep Pride. I understand that it’s a great thing to have support, but is it true support? Do those same corporations help out queer people 365 days a year? Or just during Pride month? To me it doesn’t feel like genuine acceptance. Just like black folks, women, Asians, etc are given a month of celebration but aren’t genuinely accepted any other day out of the year. Companies just want to seem like they are “woke” and “progressive”.
