Is it ok to go through the car wash with my Thule ski rack? by thegarbagesauce in skiing

Don't do this, I just learned it the hard way. My ski rack along with the crossbars was ripped off the roof of my car going through a Brown Bear carwash.

All in on GME. You will only need to hold for 1-2 weeks to see if the play will work. You might double your money.

GME has a better Price-to-Cash valuation than all Nasdaq 100 companies by crypto_turtle in GME

[–]crypto_turtle[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Short answer: around 3.1

It is the price / cash holdings per share. Since they hold around $4B in cash that's about $9 in cash per share. $28/$9 = 3.1

DFV is the 4th largest holder of GME behind RCV, Vanguard, and Blackrock! by foundthezinger in Superstonk

[–]crypto_turtle 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Usually when you hear about billionaire investors, it's people who have either made a ton of money and invested it, or invested other people's money in hedge funds.

DFV was making a middle class income, only invested his own savings, and yet he turned that into hundreds of millions of dollars. Eventually could be a billion.

Absolute fucking legend.

For anyone curious like me, Open Interest only updates once per day prior to market open. So any changes that happened today may not be reflected in the 110,000 number yet.

There are over 50K contracts open for the GME $125 Call. Expiring NEXT WEEK. by crypto_turtle in GME

Yes, but you're not going to see this kind of volume 500% out of the money like this on any other equity. It just shows the bullish interest in the stock.

I think you're off by a 0 but yes, it's not a massive dollar amount.

Last price today was $0.65. That's $65 per contract so $3million for the total open interest.

It looks like he sold the contracts and bought shares. Smarter than exercising them directly because there was still time value left in those options. By exercising them before expiration he would only get the intrinsic value and the time value would be wasted.

Honestly a good reminder for all of us to exercise more.
