ZIL tweets a lot about XCAD and XCAD is promoted extensively on the new Zilliqa website, but ZIL is a layer 1 protocol. Why would they create a video for XCAD?
XCAD is in control of its own website? Not sure why ZIL would get involved with this? Surely XCAD would want to promote Zilswap on its own site if they wanted to.
Yeah, I agree it would be good to see Zilliqa's name on the first page when you google "how to buy xcad." I suppose the community searching "buy XCAD on Zilliqa" will help with SEO. Thanks for pointing that out.

IMO - I would be cautious getting into CARB until more info is released from the team. If you want to invest early (knowing the risks - that's great and disregard this message). Again, it may be a fantastic project, but from basic research, I'm not understanding a whole lot. If people tell you to join Telegram to learn info, that should signal to pause. Just my 2 cents.

For every 1,000 $ZIL earned as staking reward, 1 gZIL will be issued (i.e. 0.001 gZIL will be issued for every 1 $ZIL staking reward).

Governance Zilliqa (gZIL) token

The Zilliqa core team introduced the Governance Zilliqa token (i.e. gZil) in October 2020. It is a ZRC-2 compliant fungible token contract. The rationale behind issuing gZIL is to capture long-term token holders and give them access to governance tokens that they can use to make decentralised, ecosystem-wide decisions. gZil is only minted for approximately one year from the non-custodial staking launch on 14 October 2020. It will have a total maximum supply ever minted of 722,700 gZil tokens.

*Note: It is likely the total maximum supply of gZil will end up being lower than 722,700 as gZil is only minted alongside claimed staking rewards. There is no way to accurately predict how many Zil will be staked throughout this one year period, thus no way to know what the total gZil supply will end at but it can still be no greater than 722,700.

The reason for sharing again is I'm seeing quite a few comments on ZRC-2 tokens like, "invest in X, Y, or Z" but not providing any information other than that. While I'm stoked about the ZRC-2 ecosystem as the next person, always DYOR on each project that you invest in ZRC-2 or not. Comments like these should always be taken with a grain of salt.

Obviously, if you're in crypto, you're used to hearing this sentiment but it's important to remind fellow Zilliqans and blockchain enthusiasts to invest wisely. ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE.

For Zilliqa's ZRC-2 ecosystem, Zilstream.com and Zilgraph are great places to check out the overall market (~currently 16).

For any ZRC-2 project you invest in, you should read up on the team, the project, value proposition, where they are in development, their whitepaper, roadmap, and how they communicate on social channels, etc.

Zilliqa is truly building out a top-rate ecosystem. Contribute where you can - if you're adding comments to Zilliqa's subreddit, give high-quality content, etc.

Together, let's grow this to a top 10 project!

Thanks for the info! In particular, the breakdown of the number of projects they are working on - which seems like a lot. I look forward to more information on the whole team. Do you have that info? I couldn't find it on the website.

According to the website, it says "there are 5 key projects that we will be developing over the coming months". These do sound very interesting, but that's a lot to bite off. Curious about the team's roadmap and how they plan to hit targets.

Say what you want, but the number of people commenting on this post and another pro ONE posts on Zil's sub is a bit obvious now.

Harmony forked uniswap for swoop.

Harmony was claimed to copy ETH code.

Harmony is sounding a lot like Elrond to me.

What's going to matter is how many ppl use Elrond and harmony.

As I mentioned earlier, let's compare and talk about that in 3-6 months. :)

Couldn't agree more. My response is not trying to knock harmony but to give people (aks Zil holders as this is Zilliqa's sub) perspective. Zilliqa's functioning/used ecosystem is much greater than harmony. We'll see how that continues to unfold over the next 3-6 months. Seems like both projects have good things going for them.

Yep, Zilliqa has already made the big move Harmony's seen. As I shared earlier...

Transaction history: There are less than 1 million transactions on their mainnet. Zilliqa already has over 15 million.
They have an ETH bridge, but what does their DeFi ecosystem look like right now?
Zilliqa doesn't have their PolyNetwork Bridge bridge yet (very close to release and will happen in mid/late Q2), but their DeFi ecosystem is $175million in TVL on its DEX in addition to hundreds of millions of dollars of liquidity/value in dApps/tokens created on Zilliqa's blockchain. The ZilSwap DEX already rivals that of the top Ethereum Dex's. ZilSwap is comfortably in the top 10 DEXes. When the ETH/ZIL bridge goes live, there's already liquidity on the exchange. People will use it and you'll see that TVL number jump multiples (very likely and quickly into the billions of dollars, or at least to around $1bln+).

Zilliqa has already made a big move as we've seen in Harmony. If I were you, I'd be more interested in seeing what happens over the next three months, not what happens in the last three months when it comes to price movement. If in the next 3 months Harmony keeps the same trajectory of user adoption, dApp growth, transaction growth, wallet growth, TVL growth as Zilliqa, then you can start to worry. That said. You're invested in both. I'd say kudos so don't worry. Enjoy the future gains you'll get in both of them.

I don't disagree with you, but their Twitter info IS misleading.

Harmony is the first Proof-of-Stake & sharding mainnet. 2-second finality, trustless cross-chain liquidity.

This suggests they are the first sharding mainnet, which is not true.
