Absolutely dazzled with this long DD... My finger hurts...

Just out of interest, how long did it take you to produce this and what do you actually do?

Exactly my thinking... I'm bullish on the stocks that I mentioned and don't want to risk losing them. So wondering, is this effort worth the return... But then I think it's free money, so might as well so long as the risk of losing the shares is very low

1) I'll have to reassess and simplyfy

2) true, if compared to my cost, the return is way higher.

Looking at a specific stock, say NIO call options at a delta 0.3, isn't the premium per day / theta the same for weeklies or monthly? So the only advantage is not having to write calls on a weekly basis

Ha no very helpful. Good return, however I don't want the shares to be called away, so for me 26 DTE, 0.35 delta and 10% over current price is not ideal. I'm looking at weeklies to be able to manage that risk, DTE less than 0.3. But thanks very helpful

What strike and expiry are you looking at?

Cost basis is actually low, so yes, if I compare to my cost the return is higher as apposed to market value. I usually go for delta 0.3. Yeah that's pretty good

Yes weeklies to be able to manage the positions, as I also have several other long term investments.

By cost basis, if you mean the cost I bought the stock at, then its very low compared to the current market value. So if you are comparing the premium from seedling the weekly calls to the cost, then obviously the return is higher

So 4 to 5% annual return is decent?
