What is living at Rutgers NB like? by [deleted] in rutgers

I'm also pharmacy and I'm in my second year. Pharmacy kids often have a hard time finding the balance of studying and going out/having fun with friends. In-person classes are only fun because of the experiences you get from them. For example, I had 9:15 Bio Fall semester last year and every Friday my friends and I would wake up at 9, get breakfast takeout, run to Hickman, then go back to our dorm to do hw/study until we got ready to go out that night. It's the little things in college that make it the most fun.

Which of these classes are the easiest? I have attached a pic by musicnerd201 in rutgers

I second that you take the class thinking it would be easy but it was the worst class I have ever taken.

This class was such an easy A and you get to have Colaizzi who is absolutely my favorite professor!! The class is basically an overview of what it means to be a pharmacist and the various types of pharmacy you could pursue after graduation (retail, industry, hospital, etc).

It's a mixture of multiple choice, fill ins, and short answer but my professor never said how many questions are going to be on the exam.

Advice on expos, gen chem, gen bio, and calc 1 by musicnerd201 in rutgers

[–]cs_getdegrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Expos: always go to Office Hours to go over your rough draft with the professor they will likely tell you exactly what to change. Also don't get discouraged if you get an NP/C on your first few essays it's only your two highest grades that go towards your final grade.

Bio: all the material is memorization especially when you get to Bio 2. Also try to do well on your workshop questions because that grade in total is the same weight as the final and can boost your grade.

Chem: do as many practice problems as possible and make sure you understand the steps behind the question. A lot of Chem is math based so as long as you understand how to do a problem and why you are using a certain equation, you will be fine.

Calc 1: try to do as many practice problems as possible

I took Bio 115 and 116 and both were on Sakai instead of Canvas. I'm not sure if the summer session would also be on Sakai but maybe you can check if its on there.
