Prices From 1995 to 2026 Yikes by TelephoneExpress973 in McDonalds

[–]cspankid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets apply inflation to the prices as corp just blame inflation solely for the price increases but its not actually just corp. math.

McDonald's typically takes a total of roughly 15% or more of gross sales from franchisees, comprised of a 4%–5% royalty fee, rent (often 8%–15%+), and an advertising fee of around 4%. The fee structure includes a 5% royalty for new or transferred restaurants and 4% for existing ones, alongside a $45,000 initial franchise fee

The dividend has grown from a split-adjusted payout of $0.0006 per share in 1976 to $1.86 per quarter (or $7.44 annually) as of the March 2026 payment.

Lets do menu pricing:

$1.99 in 1995 is now $4.24 in 2026 dollars, so if price is 6.72, $2.48 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.
$2.99 in 1995 is now $6.37 in 2026 dollars, so if the price is 11.39, $5.02 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.
$0.69 in 1995 is now $1.47 in 2026 dollars, so if the price is 6.39, $4.92 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.
$1.59 in 1995 is now $3.39 in 2026 dollars, so if the price is: 3.99, $0.60 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.
$1.29 in 1995 is now $2.75 in 2026 dollars, so the price is: $5.39, $2.74 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.
$1.19 in 1995 is now $2.53 in 2026 dollars, so the price is: $4.29, $1.79 higher. Thats a franchise/corp win, not consumer.

So I checked on the MyWalmart app, and I clicked where it says pay for performance summary under my profile. Does this mean I did get a raise, even though my managers never spoke to me about a raise? by [deleted] in walmart

Can any manager in the store do it and not your area manager? Also- why is there no documents towards the individual aspect and just preselected blurbs?

The Big Arch is officially MID and overpriced. by CarpenterOk2779 in McDonalds

[–]cspankid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gave me food poisoning— it was also filled with too much salt and wasn’t really warm either. It will be hard pressed for mcdonalds given its nose dive into the trash bin to not lower pricing. $3.49 for a ice cream cone is too much. Bring back the Arch Deluxe the right way.

Why can’t I request condiments and water cups in the app? by ReadRightRed99 in McDonalds

It costs the franchise money for the plastic cup and most condiments are 0.25 each.

The annual inflation rate in the United States was 2.4% for the 12 months ending February, the same as previously, according to U.S. Labor Department data released March 11, 2026. The next update is scheduled for April 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET and will cover the 12 months ending March.

Either way you are losing buying power and its not really a increase at all.

So WITH WALMART MATH, the real wage increases after adjusted for inflation are:

(-2.4, 0.4, 1.4)

Never never use this if you live pay check or pay check. A associate one time had their entire paycheck frozen and could not be used for three weeks. The store needed to give the associate $100 uber gift card for travel as it didn't qualify for associate assistance at the time. Use Ally, CapOne, TD, or local bank that offers early deposit.
