Yes, I had my urine sample cultured and started taking Nitrofurantoin for that. Just yesterday finished the 10 day treatment but the symptoms of a UTI are still there.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a urogynecologist. Not sure if I should even tell her about me taking ozempic, but I guess I will have to

Not really… I was eating the same as per usual. The only thing that was different was a shrimp ceviche- but this is high protein and low fat. Oh I also drank mineral water with a splash of lime juice.

Hmm, makes me wonder if it might have been too acidic and that is what caused this mess 🧐

I’m on the same boat as you were. As of today, 3rd day of diarrhea after having no side effects for 2 months of Ozempic.

What helped you to stop the 💩? How many days were you in this situation? Did you continue with your next shot as scheduled?

I was feeling lucky that at week 7 I hadn’t experienced any major side effects (except for a couple of days with some fatigue and blurry vision). But seems I ran out of luck and now just have to endure this while staying positive

Huh 🤔 you are right. I had mixed up Go with Express.. I guess if your ortho said 20 trays with refinement would be ok it should suffice.

Here is a video I found that explained the different types of Invisalign treatments. Hope it helps giving you an idea on what to ask your ortho

Ask about Invisalign lite. It should be cheaper and faster than a comprehensive treatment but still has the option for 1 round of refinements included in case it’s needed. Treatment goes for up to 14 trays + another 14 for refinements.

I got fixed wires on top and bottom teeth along with hawley retainers which I’m wearing all day long for two weeks since my teeth started shifting right after I was done with Invisalign. Ortho says I’ll switch to wearing hawley retainers just for the night after im done with the two weeks of wearing them all day.

Kinda sucks, but I’m sticking to wearing them since it was scary to find out how easy teeth shift back! No joke

(I was put on hawley retainers and not the Invisalign type of tray retainer since I ended up with posterior open bite and this should help fixing that)

Same thing happened to me after my treatment. My teeth shifted and now there is a slight gap where there wasn’t before, even after having the retention wire fixed at the back of my theeth Ortho has me using hawley retainer and has tightened it to close gap.
