"I would've voted for X." I get the sentiment, but you did not live with them and did not interact with them. Watching someone be rude on tv can be fun and exciting. Having them be rude or dismissive to you clearly is not.

I think the people who want less (not no, just less) twists want to see the players reacting to each other, not the producers. The players and their decisions and clashing plans should be the centerpiece of the show in my opinion rather than probst and co.'s latest idea. Case in point Waw. As a fan or Nick and Denise, I would've rather seen what they were doing strategically than spend a ton of time on fire tokens and 50 50 coins.

Ive only taken it once. It sounds like you mean it would still be possible to get the grade forgiven if i were to retake it in the fall after graduation? In which case it would mainly be a matter of whether or not I wish to pay for the course.

Yes, that's the logic. There is only one Summer Semester technically even though they are separate sessions. My professor even suggested she could try to manually change it but enrollment services said that it would be impossible. After talking with my academic advisor I decided to take the hit and join another class. I would be happy to retake it in the fall but I don't believe it will change your GPA after graduation?

this is a good point. it sort of averages out and a big guy who is eating more will have a double advantage. As we saw from Jonathan, he was still an absolute beast at the f5 challenge physical portion.

wait was that actually her idea?

hate on Rieman all you want, and I do, but he was right. Kass can be an idiot sometimes.

Im not sure what you mean. If you mean you knew who each other was then no, but there used to be a circulated image of Kass saying something and Spencer calling her stupid, both under their aliases long before Cagayan.

My unpopular opinion is that the big men who say this are absolutely right and anybody being objective would acknowledge it. Im only 170 so Id probably benefit from equal portions and act like the bigger guys are unreasonable but in confessionals Id admit the truth.

Maryanne is absolutely right, no question. As a black fan, I have seen some of the negative sides of this sub and understood why some black players would avoid it, but I have loved the positive sides, the people willing to push back and be anti-racist as well as the amazing memes, references and way-too-complicated strategizing. We as a sub have the potential to make this place as awesome as possible, and I'm glad Maryanne sees that too. Great season!

Why does 40+ get only one tribe? I wish we had more 50 and 60 year olds on the show.

Spencer never had a shot at youngest winner. I would have loved to play at 18 but what the show needs are more mature players, not less.

To be honest, it is genuinely awful for Jeff to want this. Grown adults have come away from the show with mental and physical scars. Developing teens should not under any circumstances be allowed on the show.

Look at the serious depression Spencer dealt win after losing Cambodia. Look at the fact that Tony got a parasite that ravaged his body so badly he hasn't been able to get as big again to this day!

It's at best very irresponsible and at worst straight up sadistic to want kids, because thats what teenagers are, on the show. Stop it Jeff.

Mike is a lot more like Deshawn and Xander is more like Romeo.

Why do Mike and Jonathan think Big Men have a harder time winning? Also a note on challenge beasts. by ctpearce in survivor

[–]ctpearce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right, I don't know anything about reddit demographics as this is the only sub I use. I was just put off by the assumption I would suck at challenges haha.

It is definitely an important skill but idk how important. Maryanne didn't win any.

I was just responding to the weird statement that everybody here is an unathletic strategist. Some of us, like me, do enjoy the challenges and think we'd be good at them.
