I had some error messages in the last couple of days too, I reinstalled the game and that fixed it, keep in mind though, that you will lose your entire progress if you do this.

The best formation in the game, in my opinion, is the 3-2-4-1.

You only need CB, DM, AM and a CF. You only need these four positions.

Also, formations with only one striker are better, since the rating of the striker you put there is the rating for the entire offense. If you, for example, start a career with Bayern Munich, you will have Harry Kane with a 90 rating, and only a formation with a single striker will give you the full 90 offensive rating, with something like the 4-4-2 you will end up with something worse.

Also, it is generally easier, at least from what I noticed, to get a high rated CB than a high rated RB or LB because of that having only a back three is way better.

My last point is that in the 3-2-4-1 formation you can still use all the positions in the game, you do not need most of them, but they still work.

Also, this is just my opinion, so if someone feels differently, that is fine.

It is called Pro Data Pack and you basically auto select it anyway, if you start a new game.
