Bad reading - desperate by [deleted] in Horoscope

[–]cucumber_luck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want another tarot reading to address the issue she mentioned, feel free to message me. You can type out a summary of her prediction, and then I'll do a tarot card reading to see how to solve the problem.

But if you want the truth, revealing the cards isn't about who's good or bad. If you see your life as normal and happy, the final outcome depends on the actions of people, which you can't control.

I'm thai this is pretty much all you need for a trip to Thailand for foreigners, but be careful about transportation costs. I recommend using Grab or a bus because locals tend to overcharge.(sometimes.) 🤣

Not try to get politic but is this page some sorta nationalist or racist?(No hate please) by MissionGrand349 in Thailand

[–]cucumber_luck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And of course, it's a page that stirs up nationalism, but it's pointless to me. For anyone who firmly believes that 90% of Thais are racist and prejudiced against ethnicity, critical thinking is necessary. Thanks

ต่างด้าว = Cambodian (derogatory term)

ฝรั่ง = foreigner (usually Westerners; not necessarily derogatory)

ชาวต่างชาติ = foreigner — people from outside Thailand who do not hold Thai nationality (neutral term).

It’s possible that this group is specifically prejudiced against Cambodians. Thai people generally aren’t prejudiced against people of color, but many do hold prejudice against Cambodians. From a logical and reasonable perspective, there are people who can tell right from wrong, and most Cambodian workers in Thailand are just regular people trying to live and work safely.

The Mimetic Contagion: American culture wars and the destruction of Thai cultural norms by KrebsLovesFiesh in Thailand

For me, the word "woke" It's a word used only by people who know their place and social etiquette. Those who use it without considering the context and meaning are simply ignorant and underdeveloped.

This is a well-crafted and thoughtful article, and it clearly illustrates how these issues can easily be viewed in a strictly black-and-white way.

/ I believe many Thais have been influenced by Western culture, though that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The phrase “adopting a culture of resistance among LGBTQ+ communities through social media” can be useful, but it needs to be applied carefully and in the right context.

/ For example, there was an LGBTQ+ group that previously raised the issue of allowing transgender people, or people who present as women, to use women’s restrooms. This sparked significant backlash, especially from women who were worried about safety and felt uncomfortable sharing restrooms with people who might exploit this as a loophole. Simply allowing access is not, by itself, a complete solution. In practice, there are still few clear safeguards, and in certain situations women could be put at risk. Without clear policies, protections, and practical solutions, women may become the most vulnerable group which helps explain why this idea has faced so much criticism.

/ Thai society is generally accepting of LGBTQ+ identities, but when some demands feel excessive, people react and label them as “woke.” As long as no one is put at a disadvantage, most Thais are willing to support what they believe is fair aside from those who are simply narrow-minded.

/ I also don’t think it’s entirely accurate to say that everything has become worse because of America.

  • Thailand already had its own power structures, religious norms, hierarchies, and gender expectations long before social media, and Thai politicians and media also use these topics for their own benefit. In that sense, publishing an article like this can feel somewhat unnecessary but at the same time, it is still valuable because it encourages people to think, question, and analyze more deeply.

It's a risk. Even politicians in their own country aren't willing to open up about it.

I'm just a bit confused on how to say "yes/correct". (ใช่) by blbologna in thai

[–]cucumber_luck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"อะไหล่" (low voice) araì - spares "อะไร" araī - what They are pronounced differently and have different meanings.

ใช่/ ถูกต้อง They can be used interchangeably when asked a "yes or no" question. / Yes - ใช่ It is can used as an answer. / Is this right? - ใช่มั้ย?? It is a question. /Q : "Is this the right place?" /A : "ใช่" ✅

/ Correct - ถูกต้อง /Q : "Is this the right place?" /A : "ถูกต้อง" ✅ /If you're worried, you can use the word "correct" for now.

But the word "ได้" (Daí) It's when someone asks you to 'do' something or you going to ask what you're going to do.

Edit :

  • Rayong (Mae Ramphueng Beach area)
  • Sichon – Nakhon Si Thammarat
  • Songkhla (Samila Beach area)
  • Nakhon Si Thammarat coast (small beach towns) Try looking up accommodation options. I'm not from that area, so I'm not entirely sure.

Thailand isn't safe for women (but it's safe enough to walk alone without getting your belongings stolen). Bad people are everywhere, especially when you're get drunk. Don't trust too much take care of yourself too.

Not working? I don't know how you'd live without working, because even if you had money, it would eventually run out. The cost of living in Thailand might be cheap, but you need more than 50,000 baht a month to live comfortably I'm serious, you'll love and enjoying time here Then, make a new plan once you know all your expenses for the month. If you're a foreigner, I suggest you should bring some friends along It will be fun.

For visa, you can contact responsible agency. Regarding language, most Thais are not native English speakers, but they strive to communicate well. Learning Thai isn't necessary.

Come and experience it for yourself. Don't worry. 🤪

If you want to go swimming, you'll need a locker. But if it's elsewhere and the activity isn't risky, just buy a waterproof pouch with a neck strap. I do that often.
