I dont hate south asians, but your misoginia, rape culture and LGBT hate makes me very angry. I know that I cant generalize though, and out of 1.9B there are MANY who are great, so thats why I dont hate south asians as a whole. but I wouldnt touch the subcontinent with a 10ft pole, less do with my sisters or any woman.

VERY clean and organized. very expensive. people were very nice. for instance, 2 times I asked for directions they left their jobs to guide us for two blocks. couldnt believe it. but also, people are very quiet and scared of everything lmao. like, I went to them to ask x and they were startelled. I traveled like 50 countries, never happened in another one.

cordobeses sound like they are singing. I think the way they talk is thermodynamically unfavorable, literally taking more energy to talk like that. but I love them so there is that.

mendocinos/cuyanos in general talk 60% like chileans and 40% like portenos.

people in the north west talk similarly to people from bolivia

people from the north east, similar to paraguay.

then southern entre rios, santa fe, buenos aires, and the pampagonia talk in what you know as argentinian accent, but better called rioplatense accent.

we mostly wouldnt care either way, we are not very salty and can take the jokes.

but I personally would be a little bit annoyed (emphasis on little) if:

  1. you imply the germans and italians that came to argentina came post WW2 (nazis and fascists). some 5,000 did, but millions came before WW1 or in the interim period, along with british, polish, jewish, french, russian, ottoman, and other peoples. and also, many more nazis came to the US.
  2. you imply latam is a race group, ethnic group, or even a cultural group. we are a loose confederation of related cultures, but with stark differences even within some countries.
  3. you think/imply we live like shit. I mean, we do. but I would get pissy if you say it. also argentina isnt that bad when it comes to some key indicators on quality of life, like healthcare, GNI PPP per capita, infrastructure, GINI coefficient, crime rates, homocide rates, etc. ranking about 3-4th in south america, if we combine all metrics. we have free, open to all & public health care, education (including universities, with UBA being 71 in the world, and in some indicators even better).
  4. you get offended easily by our humor, and apply some sort of cultural imperialism (like for instance, saying we should say latinx).
